bout time, their current codex is bland and cannot compete against some of the armies out there. Looking forward to what they do with this

Pffff, these are the 4 oldest codexes.
Space Marines - October 2008
Orks - January 2008
Eldar - November 2006
Black Templars - November 2005
It's about time the eldar came out. Although if they plan to break all of the space marine rules with the new eldar book, then i don't mind the wait

Eldar have been confirmed for the end of this year for quite sometime already.
GW usually follow this kind of pattern:
marine codex - non marine codex - marine codex - non marine codex, etc
So i won't be holding my breath in thinking the eldar will be anytime earlier this year, especially as every single rumour says it will be released around november time.

I hope not. I think they will stay with armies already have army books... But on the other hand GW is trying to reduce possibilities around armies. No more specific legions in CSM, no more craftworlds, no more IG regiments...
And I don't know to which category belong rumours about Sisters being wiped out by GK
