Made me puke seeing the Stormraven in Ultrasmurfs livery. GW giving the poor kids our best toys....bahhh.

Anyone have confirmation as to what are/will be the difference for those updated entries?

I know that a lot of fliers lost deep strike, but is that the only difference. Is GW really expecting me to buy another book so they can tell me that my 2 fliers cannot deep strike or are the changes more substantial i wonder?

No idea i just know the same as you ive been taken off seep strike and scout

Ok the necron FAQ already states to remove the deep strike rule for both the fliers. It also does not say that there are any updated rules found in the death from the skies book for either of the fliers. Basically Daniel, don't waste your time and money.

I wouldn't even consider buying the book unless it says in the FAQ that the updated rules can be found there (like the orks does for example). Even then, personally i'd just find out what the minor changes are, and note them down. But that's just my own opinion

anyway, i have already ordered the book, apparently there are extra rules for dogfights etc..

the dog fights should be interesting --- may be an all flier game lolol. You would need special rules other wise the game could be over in 2 rounds of shooting (whoever gets in first).

Dogfighting rules are in Crusade of Fire, the first 6th ed expansion, Steven bought it, there are also rules for gladiatorial combat, pretty interesting, will bring it down next time I go to the club.
