In the new chaos codex an army can only have 1 artifact of the same kind in the whole are now can an army have more than 1 artifact(differnt ones) and if yes can i lord carry 2 as it says a lord can change one of its weapons for a 1 artifact? so it would change each weapon for one

I don't quite understand what your asking, but i'll just state this. A chaos lord can take as many artefacts as they want, but only one of each type of artefact can be chosen in the entire army. If he takes 3 different close combat artefacts, he'll only ever be able to use one in combat any way. It does not say the lord "changes" his weapons for artefact weapons, so therefore he will still keep the weapons he normally comes with as well.

So can it change his 2 weapons for 2 artifacts???

I have not seen anywhere where it says that a lord "changes" his weapon for an artefact. So as far as i know they can pay for as many artefacts as they like (as long as no one else in the army has the same artefact)

page 91 says a model can replace ONE weapon with one of the following artifacts

does this mean he can only change one, or any?

wouldnt it say a model can change any?

Ok Dimensional Key and Scroll of Magnus (tzeentch only) do not replace a weapon. So apart from those you can only choose 2 of the remaining 4 artefacts for a chaos lord (one to replace the pistol, one to replace the close combat weapon)
