Re: the future vs starwars
i felt that way 'ive made my billkions now feck u all, muahaha'
but thinking bout it i think lucas has done starwars a favour. imagine a Christopher Nolan directed starwars, or a joss whedon one.
by doing this the franchise will be freshly pursued with no more jar jar binks/ ewoks and no more vodaphone adverts (hopefully). the future is good, the future is...hang on that is orange:)

Re: the future vs starwars
Yeah but what happens if people like Michael Bay get a hold of it and injects even more cgi (if possible lol) and then replaces any story with explosions.
It never panned out that great for Alien when they did the same and it just got progressively worse after Aliens. That is until Ridley Scott adopted it back with prometheus, which i really like.
The star wars saga should have be left alone, but George lucas has just kept prodding it and now future directors will be doing the same. I reckon there might be 1 good movie out of the next 10 movies made, depending upon who does it.

Re: the future vs starwars
Disney wont allow that to happen, and Michael bay should be shot regardless!! I reckon good things will come from this...watch this space!! If CGI to the level of avatar is included, yes please.
Also Prometheus was good.
